The Black Forest

Black Forest

The holiday region of Black Forest between the cities of Basel and Karlsruhe, the rivers Rhine and Nagold has an extension of more than 11,400 square kilometres. About half of it is constituted by the mountain range giving the region its name.

The Rhine Valley and the vineyards in the west and south, as well as the Baar, the Gäu and the river valleys of Nagold and Neckar in the east also belong to the Black Forest.

Therefore the holiday region to the right side of the Rhine knee of Basel has many faces and offers totally different possibilities depending on your requirements. Just come on an exploration trip with us! You best start in the South of Germany’s most beautiful corner of pleasure:

Markgräflerland, Breisgau, Kaiserstuhl, Hochschwarzwald, Hotzenwald and Dinkelberg are keeping many enchantments, pleasures, and wellness and active offers ready for you.
